The core cause of Bloggers Unite and Refugees United is information. Information leads to empowerment. Refugees United enables destitute refugees to take matters into their own hands. Bloggers Unite enables ordinary folks to make an extraordinary difference.
It is very difficult to reach refugees in remote areas. By advancing the power of blogs, bloggers are effectively placed in a position to fulfill a job that could not be done without the power of the internet and the skills that bloggers possess to quickly and effectively raise the necessary awareness and aid about critical social causes.
We hope you will join us, as together we harness the expression of the blogosphere to reunite family members who have been separated from each other.

Refugees United is a non-profit organization that helps refugees relocate family and friends through the use of the internet.
Refugees United provides refugees with an anonymous forum to reconnect with missing family. By registering with nick- names, scars, former locations and other markers only identifiable to family and close friends, everyone can remain 'invisible' to all but relatives.
The Refugees United search engine is the first of it's kind. Visit Refugees United to see how it works and to learn more about the work that Refugees United is doing.

Recognizing the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Bloggers Unite For Human Rights brings bloggers together to make a statement that people do have inalienable rights that include life, liberty, justices, and the freedom to express ideas. The goal is to expose current atrocities or help raise awareness about the importance of human rights.
The Acts of Kindness theme aims at putting a human face on the bloggers responsible for so much good in the world. The goal is to expose their kindness and generosity as well as serve as an example to non-bloggers that volunteering for a charity, donating to a cause, or simply doing something kind for another person has a ripple effect around the world. "Maybe 20,000 bloggers, vloggers, photographers will make a difference."
The Outcome we are after is to be part of the largest group of bloggers to ever blog about an important cause, all on the same day. On Sept. 27th, blog about putting an end to some sort of Abuse (you decide what kind of abuse to blog about)
We chose organ donation because it is a gift of life. So on July 18, let's all come together again and raise awareness about organ donation and the good it can do. Why organ donation? In Australia, more than 1,700 people are waiting for organ transplants. In Latin America, more than 50,000. In Europe and the United States, more than 170,000. In China, more than 2 million. In Africa, there isn't enough organization to really know. Without an organ transplant, these people will die.
