The republican leadership is like the arson who shows up at the fire telling the firefighters that they are not putting the fire out correctly.

It is shamefull to use our country and its people to gain power.

Every Republican needs to stop being disgruntled and do the following:

Every Republican needs to follow the below instructions:

Republican Senators who voted for the Stimulus Package were Sen. Specter (R-PA), Collins (R-ME), and Snow (R-ME) may need defeated in the next election however there is an interim step that can be taken by the Republican Leadership that would make life quite stressful and embarrassing for these three. Without the vote of these 3, the Stimulus package would not have passed.

Senator Spector is the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Senator Snowe is the ranking member of the Senate Small Business Committee
Senator Collins is the ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee

As ranking member is a Senator who is a member of the minority (in the present the Republicans) and who has a status above their colleagues. You can find out more about the ranking members at http://www.senate.gov/general/common/generic/officer_responsiblities.htm

Ranking members for each committee are appointed by the leadership. Ranking Members have the following privileges amongst others:

1. Larger and more attractive office
2. Larger staffs
3. Bigger budgets
4. More status

The Republican Senate Leaders, McConnell, Kyl, Alexander, Cornyn, and Ensign can remove the ranking privileges of these Senator's for not voting on the most important position of the caucus the Stimulus Bill. Tell everyone you know to contact each of these Senators, who are the Republican leaders in the Senate, at the following numbers and tell them to remove the ranking privileges of Senator Collins, Snowe, and Spector.

Senator McConnell - (202) 224-2541 - Minority Leader
Senator Kyl - (202) 224-4521 – Minority Whip
Senator Alexander - (202) 224-4944 – Conference Chair
Senator Cornyn - (202)-224-2934 – Conference Secretary
Senator Ensign - (202) 224-6244 – Committee Chair

In addition, you can call the House Republican Leaders and urge them to call their Senate Leadership colleagues (above) and to urge their Senate counterparts to remove the ranking privileges of Senator’s Collins, Snowe, and Spector The House leaders are:

Rep. John Boehner - (202) 225-4000 – Minority Leader
Rep. Eric Cantor - (202) 225-0197 – Minority Whip

You can also call your Senator or Representative to do the same thing. You can find their numbers for the Senate at http://www.senate.gov/index.htm and for the House at http://www.house.gov/

With your help we can be successful in altering the Stimulus Bill in conference to better reflect our values. This will only happen if we can bring Senators Collins, Snowe, and Spector back into the fold. If we can’t then we’re probably better off without them and new blood in these ranking member leadership positions. This issue may be the most important issue in our country’s history. Don’t sit by and let it just happened.

We need Rush Limbaugh to attack Obama because if Obama does good, it will spell the end of the Republican party. Obama could be our worst nightmare. Rush Limbaugh is the heart and soul of the Republican party.

David Boren, who endorsed Obama, was outed as queer in the gay press in 1993. He was also being accused of sexually harassing his male staff members. That is the real reason why he resigned from his seemingly safe U.S. Senate seat during the following year. For publications in the gay press about Boren, see this youtube video and click on the link in the text box for scans of excerpts.

Boren wants a Washington appointment from Obama. Republicans should be prepared to tell your Senators not to confirm him if Obama gives him one.

I enjoyed reading your blog - well reasoned; unlike so many of the new Republicans. I actually think that we (Americans) and the Republican Party will be better off with a Obama Presidency.

The Clintons are working with Radical Islamic Muslims to destroy this Country. Their plan is working perfectly so far. Some facts about Gays and their Desire to destroy this Country. Gays are the PAWNS the Radical Muslims are using. Some FACTS: Did you know that homosexuality was first practiced in Pagan temples like the Luxor Temple as a worship ritual to Lucifer? True story, the walls of the temple are etched in stone with the depiction of all manner of homosexual acts. Asexuality is more plausible in nature than homosexuality. Asexuality or having both sexes as in the case of some species of worms makes the case that nature (stated this way because most Gays rebel against God.) has proved out the error of their ways. IT IS A CHOICE. .
The Muslim Agenda - Gay Rights and the Destruction of Christianity and This Country and our Economy
Historically, Religious Zealots, like Radical Muslims are smart enough to make LONG RANGE PLANS. The objective of the Radical Muslims is to destroy Christianity. They are making great progress using Americans against Americans. Gays/Lesbians against Heterosexuals. 1. Put Bill Clinton in the Whitehouse and Pelosi in Congress. Bill destroyed our economy. Look at the Current Mess and the Clintons helped with 911 by allowing the Terrorists to enter the Country. Bill spent tax dollars to further the Muslim Agenda by Slaughtering 1000's of Christians in Kosovo. 2. Let Bush, a Republican take the Blame. 3. Put Barack Obama in the Whitehouse and continue to pit Gays against Heterosexuals until Gays "win" and Christianity is destroyed. 4. Islamic Law will prevail and of course, ultimately Gays lose because Muslims don't support Gays. I know, everybody here will say "I'm crazy" just as I was "crazy" in opposing Pelosi's "bail out the Rich Plan" on housing foreclosures - Rich are NOW bailed out!
Vote for Barack Hussein obama for President to COMPLETE the circle the Radical Muslims need to bring down America.

Very well written, thoughtful articles. Nice to see a conservative voice that's grounded in true conservatism than faux right-wing religious fundamentalism.
