I started this blog when I started my counselling course, as we were encouraged to keep a diary to log our 'personal development'. My log turned into a blog and from that it has turned into a monster. I wasn't sure where I was going with my counselling course and certainly didn't think I would still be blogging. Two and a half years later I am still blogging and nearly finished my counselling diploma. Over time I started to include more than words to my blog, from photography to doodling. So its my personal blog, but with extras.

Well, Claire's fantastic, witty and whimsical blog really deservedly has many followers and admirers. I always enjoy her quirky illustrations, cultural explanations of obscure English fantastical creatures and slang, and wish her and the Mumborg all the best in their ongoing medical saga. Even more than just a wildly creative doodle artist and a fantastic blogger, Claire is a kind person that I feel privileged to call my friend. Love the blog Claire and I am a fan!

This woman is very unique and highly intelligent, and what I love about her is that she isn't afraid to express and even live her uniqueness. She is a refreshing burst of individuality in a world that is geared toward conformity. I applaud her for this because she encourages me to be likewise. 1. Content(writing styles, etc.)
The content in this blog is as original as it can get.. The author writes about daily life experiences, plus working hard in college. She has a delightful, yet droll way of looking at everyday things and expresses it very well with bits of wisdom, a tad of quirky, a dash of irony, and plenty of good advice thrown in. She also has doodle page that I highly recommend everyone take a visit too. The author expresses her self clearly and you will have no doubt as to what she feels about any subject she takes on.
2. Colors (eye-catching, blends, etc.)
The colors chosen for this blog are comfortable and inviting, and they don't distract from the excellent content one little bit!
3. Fonts (Background contrasts, etc.)
The fonts chosen are easy on the eye and just the perfect size to prevent eye fatigue, which encourages the reader to keep on reading. The background color behind the text helps cut the glare and helps the text to stand out nicely.
4. Layouts (orderly, theme etc.)
The layout for this blog fits it perfectly, the header is outstanding and beautifully done, and columns are all orderly and do not distract from the content. The whole blogging area including all the different pages are crisp, clear and uncluttered.. Awesome!
5. Navigational (working links. etc.)
The links that I clicked on were all working just fine, and navigating this blog is very easy. You can find what your looking for with a quick glance and it is nice to be able to not have to search for your comment section or any other area of the blog. Great Job!
Claire; I have been a subscriber to your blog for quite a while and have kept up with it quite a bit. Just wish I had more time to comment sometimes. You do a great job with it! How you manage to keep up with it and your college courses and living life is amazing to me.. You are doing a great job, and will be an excellent counselor because of the way you choose to view life issues. I enjoyed my visit again and will always be one of your fans.. Keep on writing...

Good use is made of static pages that provide a brief bio, great photos, counseling notes, hiking notes and doodles. Clair is a charming, funny, bubbly, bitchy and absolutely precious young woman - she's the real thing.
