I saw this site before and was really impressed with the template. Unfortunately, the colours don't seem to compliment the text or font and I get that "yawn, ugh, does i have to read?" feeling just looking at it.
This is not Absurdly Awesome - it's Absurdly Average.
As far as the content is concerned, it's well written, concise although the template fails to keep your attention. Some different colours, banners, graphics could work but you've also got contextual ads overlapping onto your site header.
There's a lot of work that needs to be done here and for someone claiming they are awesome, they have done a terrible job of proving it. I really want this site to stand out. I just don't see it happening any time soon.
Three stars and I'm being generous.
