I got a letter yesterday. Not an ordinary missive. And certainly not an exclusive one, but still it made me smile. I got a letter from President Barack Obama yesterday. And it made me happy.I'll attach a copy of it here for you to read, in case you di...

I haven't blogged in a while and I've missed it. But the thing I have done the least is cook, let alone have friends over for dinner. I am finally back in a less remote part of Abruzzi and I have moved into a sweet little attic in the centro storico,...

I'll be brief, because the smell of baking sweetness is making me dizzy here. I have to slip away and savour a slice while you meet this week's guest chef. I'll hand over my toque to Angela–we call her Geli–and let her tell you of her beautiful G...

What a tasteful (literally & figuratively) blog! Full of emotion, insight, and wonderful photos of Italian life - seen through the eyes of an Italian-American. I love Lola's realism, and feel like I'm talking to an old college friend whenever I read her posts. Viva la vie italienne mon ami.

Aglio, Olio & Peperoncino blog is tops!
Lola the editor is as brilliant as her blog. Everytime I visit I leave with new knowledge gained. Being Italian in the U.S. she brings me to the land I love Italy, with her invincible wisdom. I feel Lola works hard to deliver the best recipes and foods of Italy! Her writings are so addicting, I find myself always indulged. Due to Lola's great communication skills, I feel honored and privileged to call Lola a friend. Thanks Lola xx !

Lola is a very talented writer and researches all her work meticulously - the resulting posts are highly informative and entertaining. Her recipes are a delight and her sense of humour adds extra interest and sometimes great deal of spice, which makes reading even more addictive, especially for the males.
Lola also is a very kind and warm person who is liked very much amongst the blogging community.
I would recommend her very highly as an entertaining and good value read and I love her to boot.

Bloggers fall into various categories but I would class Lola as a 'must read' - do not miss her - it's all high class stuff.
