well, in actually i need some help , i am new in programming , right now i am trying to design a programme over a problem ,

i am trying to make a programme which can find the all possible unique sequense combinations ,

as a example :

there is a block of few characters:

0 1 2 3
-----------
0 | A T G C
1 | A C T
2 | G

1*2*2*3 = 12 ,

SO 12 IS THE NO WHICH SHOWS THAT FROM THIS BLOCK WE CAN OBTAIN 12 UNIQUE SEQUENSE COMBINATIONS.

SO THE OUT PUT SHOULD BE :

1: ATGC
2: ATGT
3: ATGG
4: ATCC
5: ATCT
6: ATCG
7: AAGC
8: AAGT
9: AAGG
10: AACC
11: AACT
12: AACG

i am clueless so please if any body can suggest, give any logic over this pls.

I've been trying to get a computer back to life.

I recently bought a new 160GB Western Digital HD to reinstall XP on.
When I first put my XP Install CD in, it looked as if everything was about to install fine, but before the install process (after "files loading"), it turned out that I didn't have the power connected to the HD.

When I connected the HD power and restarted the PC, the only message I got was Boot Disk Failure.......
I couldn't escape from that message and it wouldn't give me the option to press a button to restart or continue.

I then tried to see if I could cheat the PC into installing by connecting the HD power just as the "loading files" process was beginning. But then it showed a message saying that the CD may be damaged (but it's in perfectly fine condition).

Whenever I restart the computer without the Install CD in the CD drive, it does the same Boot Disk Failure.....(can't escape from the message and it doesn't let me enter the BIOS either).
I would think that the motherboard is stuffed, coz I'll admit it was damaged a while back. But really, other than that, everything seems to be working fine, coz I could see the install process about to begin.

Also, I don't see the light to the FD flash on in the POST, because I'd like to use a Win98 Boot Disk (just because I can). Hence, possibly motherboard, but I wanna play to make sure Coz if the motherboard is screwed up, how can I see everything about to install as though everything's working fine?
And I'm thinking because of this, it's called the CD Drive the A: Drive, but that's supposed to be the FD (unless it was made with the CD drive as Drive A- but that just doesn't sound right)
Anyway, as I've already said, it won't let me get into the BIOS to change drive letters.

Anyway, I'm wondering if it's because it needs a different brand, because it's previous HD was a Seagate. Or maybe because the data cables need to be set out in a Master/Slave way. But I doubt the data cables need that (unless they do).

Other than that, not too sure.
Any ideas?
