What a blog! It's very fascinating to hear stories of people and how they go through life, the lessons they've learned and their successes and down moments. I love that you have opened up your life to the rest of the world to read. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Ian, My commiserations to you and family. I have only just learned of the loss of Ian. I used to hang around with Ian in my mid teens. Yes, he was a wild bugger and afraid of no one or nothing. I remember drink straight Southern Comfort with him one freezing cold Friday night in the park opposite his family home. I was crook as a dog and every time I heard an ad for Southern Comfort it always reminded me of Ian. I left Dubbo when I was 19 and lived on a boat in Darwin Harbour in the 80's. I then travelled to WA where I lived for 16 years (much of that in the desert goldfields). I'm now back in NSW on the coast. I was only thinking the other day about people and things that have influenced my life's journey. Ian was certainly one of those! Again, my condolences on your loss. All the best. Peter Sharp
