Does any one remember the polio epidemic? Well I was not yet born but this disease has affected not just my dad but the whole family. My father was one of the many who ended up contracting Polio when he was just a young boy. Well contrary to the doctors diagnosis he not only survived but was eventually able to walk again with out the help of a walker or a cane. But even so it was obvious he was different than most dads� he could not run or jump or play like the others. But still he was my dad and I loved him so his disability just added to his dadness. Well as of about 10 years ago my dads� problems with post polio began. He now has to use a cane, and has braces on his legs and eventually he will need a wheel chair the worst part for my dad is this causes poor circulation and a lot of pain. Well as a daughter I wanted to help but did not know how until I ran across a site called http://www.contourmd.com. This site sells many different recovery products but the one that interested me was the compression stockings; which help with poor circulation. Well I bought a couple of pairs for my dad for Christmas and he is very pleased with them, his feet and legs feel cold much less than they used to and this make it easier for him to get around each day. So if you or someone you know suffer from post polio or just poor circulation then consider purchasing them some compression stockings they have helped my dad!!!
