I love everything about food. Cooking, eating, shopping for it, growing it and researching new recipes and ideas. I am currently in search of that happy medium. Trying to cook healthy some of the time, while continuing to make those rich foods that satisfy like nothing else. I started Apples and Butter to chronicle my cooking exploits while I try to up the healthy (an apple a day keeps the doctor away) and tone down the butter, all while still indulging my affinity for rich food.
