"Are saha Mare" program started way back in 2001 while the Power cuts were on. It's called "Light Enakam" by that time. This captured a huge public attention with its unique style. Since then lots of Sri Lankan radio stations tried to copy this style. As a result you can find many radio shows today with people trying to immitate old tones. But Are saha Mare still standing so high as the pioneers.

Hello Rosith, Suneth, Gaminda, I've listened 15 of u'r earlier programs more than 10 times each, which was recorded from the radio abt 2 years b4.. Those r very nice & I lov the way that u both r talking in a way of respecting each other in it. Fortunately I could listen a few of u'r new prgms today & refering them I guess that it'll be more funnier & natural if u both change u'r voices like more older persons..(like previous prgms.. Coz in new prgms u both r talking a little bit like youngsters) Anyway.. a big work.. I like them.. Thanks..
