A daily look into the world of sports cards with a sports writer's twist.
First time use - question - I have come upon a collection of the "Boys of Summer" cards to match each and every the individual in the book - including a 1956 signed Gil Hodges card. There are also numerous other major league baseball items covering 3 generations of fanatics - includes autographed balls (Tom Seaver - Craig Swan) and also a fairly decent collection of a kid (my husband) following every move Micky Mantle made in the years starting pre-1960 and upwards - from opening day programs annually collected for over a decade and at the height of his career, to newsclipings of articles on whether or not he would be able to play, etc.) published stats, hand out soubveniers from games, and boxes and boxes and boxes of Fleer, Topps, Skybox etc.opened and unopened from 1980's and beyond (my son) is there a market and where do I go to learn about valuation., etc. Thanks for your time- best regards Karen Martinelli
