Musings of a realist philosopher and artist extraordinaire. R.I.P.
Should you ask people around you what truth is, you will mostly be told that it depends on your conception of truth. If you insist and point out that what exists or not is entirely oblivious to any opinion one may have of it as far as being or not b...
These days you are not understood if you say that the primacy of being has been substituted by nothingness. Most people stare at you with a dazed look. Yet, for anyone who has the slightest inkling of metaphysics, it is obvious that being primes over...
Nietzsche, in my opinion, was an artist bestowed with a prodigious capacity to love and with an … unflinching jealousy, jealousy consisting certainly, in its most speculative and humanely sublime form, in looking for a master over which to dominate...
In the last analysis, love consists in stooping down whereas art consists in stepping up... and we are no more an artist by stooping down than we love by stepping up, which means, if you are still following, that we do not stoop down by stepping up n...

Christopher WarnaschI shouldn't have started reading your blog while at the office. Where did all that time go, and how am I going to finish my work?
I'll look forward to something on the Philosophy of Language! (I won't be able to add to the discussion; I do syntax, alas.) But there's plenty more there to keep me quite occupied for a good while.
IAN SPARTICUS HARDYyour blog is like a master painter's painting, great for the eye and for the soul.

Count SneakyWow! Harv. This is not the Natasha from "Rocky And Bullwinkle." At least, I don't see Boris in the background carrying a bomb. But, who's looking at the background.

Rafael RodriguezGreat blog, deep, intresting and easy to read, keep up the good work.
TaraInformative, creative, well written and, oh my, everything else that's good. A fantastic blog that is most certainly a joy to read. A definite 5 star here.
If I had ten thumbs, you would see all ten 'up' right now! :-)
RebeccaOh my, when I clicked the 5 stars I didn't realize I would be put on the spot to comment my thoughts as well! I just figured a 5 star would stand all on it's own.
Thinking......
I think I'll just let those 5 stars speak for me.

Arcticulates1. Content(writing styles, etc.)
I am afraid I have fallen in love with this blog. The writing style speaks to me.. The author of this blog has a philosophical, thought provoking style that I have always loved to read. I find it compelling and interesting. And have signed it up to my Rss reader so I can keep better track of the new posts. Thanks!
2. Colors (eye-catching, blends, etc.)
The colors chosen for this blog style are soothing and are not distracting from the content in any way.
3. Fonts (Background contrasts, etc.)
The fonts used are easy to read, and the right size for easy reading. I like how on some posts the font colors were changed to different colors, all blending well, and it really helped with preventing eye fatigue while reading. Good idea!
4. Layouts (orderly, theme etc.)
The layout/theme for this blog seems to be just what it needs it is not too flashy, is warm and inviting, almost like a place to meet and chat with old friends. I felt very comfortable.
5. Navigational (working links. etc.)
All the links that I checked seemed to be in great working order, the blog itself is easy to navigate and to find the information your looking for. It is well set-up. Awesome!
Harvey, I absolutely enjoyed my visit to your blog. It is very well done, and the writing style is very interesting. It kept me reading more and more.. I wish I had visited sooner. As I feel I have found a real gem! Thank-you!

JamieI enjoy the way this blog gets me thinking! One of the few blogs that I have to read more than once to "get it" and I love that about Being and quirkiness.
lizzyI like the unique content. Plus it is not hard to read.
