Tuesday I posted about a new pair of earrings I made. With those finished, I decided to start something else new. Poking around in my stash of rings I found three large copper rings I received from Urban Maille when I ordered a kit for a half persia...

Linda,
Thanks for your nice comments. I do not have a store so I'm not sure who would have told you that the pattern is not available. Having said that, I don't sell patterns so they were correct. The Romanov pattern is two Byzantine segments joined together in a circle. That is what you have figured out. As for adding the bead it is with a wire through the bead and two simple loops on each end then attached to the jump ring that joins the two Byzantine segments. It takes a bit of time to get the sizing correct so that it fits neatly.
I hope this has been helpful. If you need more information you can ask again.
