Brent Pennington Photography
http://brentpennington.com/blog/
There’s no clear format for this page – I see it more as a place where I can speak off the cuff about professional photography in general. I’ll be posting photos from various gigs and outings and rambling on a bit and hopefully someone out there will be listening (well, reading, actually).
In addition to posting photos I’ll be writing about the process of building Brent Pennington Photography. It’s one thing to take up a camera and learn to master shutter speeds and apertures. It’s another entirely to take on professional photography in a business setting.

Manual Focus
As I wander around the internet I keep coming across a number of references to manual focus. The frequency is surprising to me, since MF isn’t part of my usual bag of tricks and I can’t think of a single photographer I know personally wh...
Canon 28-135mm IS – Review
The term “kit lens” is used to cover all manner of sins. In some cases, such as the infamous Canon 18-55mm kit lens, the sins are very real – that lens has a reputation for being a real dog. But in other cases, the kit lens can pu...
