Bringing the World His Truth

http://bring-the-world-his-truth.blogspot.com…

Have you ever been curious about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and wanted to know more about what they teach, but do not feel comfortable with inviting the missionaries over, asking your friends who are members of this church, or visiting the local meetinghouse?....

"Bringing the World His Truth" is a blog page designed by myself, catered for such persons. The website explains in a simple and informative way through music, illustration and written words, the basic beliefs that members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints hold dear. It has been designed in a way to be able to inform you on what the Church teaches in a friendly, approachable and informal manner.

Each month there will be a new topic posted, with songs, scriptures, and spiritual messages to accompany the theme for that month. This month's theme covers one of the most misunderstood doctrines of most of the Christian world: namely, the Fall of Adam and Eve. Through modern-day revelation, we now have a better understanding of why it was necessary for Adam and Eve to partake of the forbidden fruit - so that they could understand the difference between joy and pain. The consequence of their choice to partake of the fruit was that physical and spiritual death were introduced to the world - obstacles that prevent us from becoming like our Heavenly Father, and can only be overcome through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

(I have added LOTS of links to the official church website this month for those wishing to learn more about this misunderstood doctrine).

Please leave comments and ask me as many questions as you like; I am more than willing to assist you and help you understand more about what the Church of Jesus Christ teaches.

I stress the importance that this blog page was NOT purposely designed with the intention of "converting" people to the Church. Rather, the blog page serves as a guide in helping you understand what the Church teaches and believes in.
