In the summer of 2006, I went through a massive manic episode during which, before I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I thought I was going to achieve great things with my life. (You have to read it to believe some of the things I thought and did!) Then in one truly awful three-day night of the soul, I was arrested by the LAPD, and locked in a psychiatric ER ward. I blogged throughout, and cover my gradual recovery, along with many of the other crazy things that happened along the way.
However, through hard experience comes growth. I wouldn't wish anybody to go through it, but I learned a lot about myself, and, surprisingly to me, it opened up to me thoughts about spirituality. Not that I believe in God, or some kind of mystical force, mind you. But my thoughts on this are discussed in blog, along with writing about living with bipolar disorder, my subjects include literature, cosmology, spirituality, human interaction, gay culture, body-image and mindfulness.
There are links to my book “Out of the Body” which I wrote about the whole experience, and how my life took me to that point; and also to my photography website (nature, art and homoerotic photographs.)

I'm sorry to hear about your episode and about the depression and bipolar stuff.
It seems to me You have been through alot.It grieves me to imagine what this pain has driven You to do.
From my own experience I can tell You that stored demonized emotion has alot to do with mood swings and behavior.
I came out of homosexuality through an ex-gay ministry in New York called 'Life Ministry'which is a born again christian ministry devoted to healing and restoring people.
You can contact 'exodus ministries' in Orlando Florida if You want to get in touch with a ministry in your area(they'll refer You).But You seem to need supernatural healing so I'd like to ask you to consider becoming 'born again'.
Becoming 'born again' means to have a new spiritual identity and sets you off on a new life adventure where You'll be empowered by the Holy Spirit to defeat these strongholds in Your life and fufill God's intended purpose for your life.
