I wish I could do this for my own cancer treatment. What a sweet dog and a great idea! Here's to a cure in our lifetime.
This is about Buddy, a 9-year-old Boston Terrier. It details the ups and downs of living with and treating canine lymphoma without using chemotherapy. You'll find healthy homecooked dog food and cookie recipes, helpful links, and lots of pics. Come say hi to Buddy, he's a real people kinda guy.

Just within the last few weeks really, the fat pads on Buddy’s lower back are disappearing. Almost as quickly as they came. Strange. I haven’t changed his diet enough to warrant what I’m seeing here. I just gave the go ahead to my M...
When I read Bear’s heart-wrenching story I felt I should link to it for more people to read. OMGosh! I’m so sorry. I treasure every moment I have with my boy and can only imagine the pain of the loss of your best friend Joni. I cry just ...
I’ve been reading more about the tinctures Buddy is taking from my holistic vet. One of them is called Andrographis. My mom had asked me to look into the newer cold product here in Canada called Cold F/X. When I went to the health food store ...

KellyBeautiful site Joanne. Buddy seems like a sweetie and such great care he's getting. Hope he's doing well! Really enjoyable reading. Have to try your cookie recipe!
tamandra MichaelsWhat a great blog! I'm also a huge advocate for holistic, healthy care for our pets. My mom also is having her second battle with breast cancer, and is doing all organic juicing and such, this whole strenuous regime. Inspiring.
Thanks for reviewing my blog, too. Give that cutie Boston a kiss on the nose!

Joan ScottI also have a dog named Buddy. He just turned 6 years old on August 8, 2008. He's a german shepherd/rottweiller mix and is my best friend. I drink GoChi juice everyday and plan on giving my dog GoChi juice when he turns 7. I walk him everyday for exercise and we even feed him bones (which he loves). I'd give you my website but am not allowed on this blog. If you want more info on helping your dog get better without chemo please e-mail me at mybuddysystem1@yahoo.ca. Sincerely, Joan Scott. PS I named my e-mail address after my dog.
