Hi Cathie,
I love the snowy pictures like you! I would love to see a snowy ice rink in the counrty like the one in the old movie,"THE BISHOP'S WIFE." It has old wooden benches around the pond, a train track running near the edge of the pond with the post going down through the edge of the water. You can skate around them. And out in the fields around it are snowmen all dressed up.
Another one is the old town of Bedford Falls in the movie " IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE". The snow is so deep in the streets all you see are the tire tracks and foot prints ( if any ). And down the middle of the street there are trees full of Christmas lights sparkling in the snow. Benches are under the trees in spots to rest the weary old soles.
Well, just some food for thought. Looking forward to many more of your paintings and stories!! Hope you feel better real soon! Take care.
