Most blogs come from the viewpoint of an expert (self-proclaimed or otherwise), but this blog comes from the viewpoint of a beginner at everything outdoors. I invite the beginner to join me and learn from my mistakes and the expert to be entertained by my lack of knowledge and to maybe have a few flashbacks of lessons learned when they were first starting out. This blog will cover hiking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, water sports and outdoor events in the Cherokee National Forest.
