I have had CFS for eight years. I still struggle with my symptoms. Yet in looking back to where and who I was before CFS compared to where and who I am now I feel I have experienced positive, radical, and holistic change that I call transformation.
As part of my doctoral research at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, I am looking for other adults with CFS who believe they have experienced personal, spiritual, and/or religious growth or transformation from CFS.

Alisa LysaughtAbout 5 years ago I was dealing with all the symptoms of CFS, sleeping about 15 hours a day, having trouble staying awake while driving, etc. I tried LOTS of nutritional stuff, cleanses, etc since doctors could not help. I fianlly stumbled across my answer to prayer using a complete nutritional program that did not involve taking more handfuls of pills. I now sleep 6-8 hours at night and rarely take naps.
