I’m a British writer who moved to Los Angeles eight years ago, to live with my sister, singer/songwriter Julia Fordham, after my two children grew up and left home. I was looking for adventure and excitement in Part Two of my life but instead found myself looking for excrement – Julia’s dog Muttley’s. My book about being a stranger in a very strange land, Plus One: A Year In The Life Of A Hollywood Nobody, has just been optioned for a movie so I might finally get to be a Hollywood Somebody after all.

It's not hard to like writers who write like this. Comfortable style, CA ambience with 'Brit' accent. Lovable!
