A blog that talks about my interest in world cinema past and present. Though mostly Hollywood films (especially Pre-code cinema, film noir, classic horror, science fiction, gangster, fantasy, musicals, screwball comedy and westerns) and French Cinema (especially the poetic realism of the 1930s, The New Wave period of the late 1950s through the 1960s and finally, to a special admiration for the different types of Crime films made in France, especially the so called, Le Film Policier Noir).
