Im living in Buffalo, and I just put up various holds (eastcoastholds.com) in my apartment. It's been much easier to climb without going to the nearest climbing center about 25 minutes away. There are a few benefits to this: decreased carbon footprint, money saver, skill level. Has anyone ever heard of rehabbing old houses for bouldering purposes. Co-Op climbing houses? Buffalo has a number of vacant houses (cheap mind you), and this could be a way to help out the city, and its vacant house situation. Any feedback would be great even if its to tell im crazy. Just think though, each room could have different skill levels, and hell you could even climb from the kitchen up to a bedroom or something.
