I am a 30 year old mother, wife, nurse, graduate student…and after today I guess you can add “random” blogger to that list. I work here and there, I am determined to survive these last 6 months of graduate school, I volunteer when I can, I have this fabulous idea to start my own business, and you must know that I can do none of those without caffiene. I have spent the last 7 years being a momma to a heaven sent little boy (that is not just a statement…you shall soon see), who is not so little anymore. I was blessed with his 100% opposite on Valentine’s Day 2007, she too will soon explain herself. My partner in crime helping me raise these babies is Mark Louis (nickname thanks be to Jackson)…if this were his blog he would tell that you - I am hard to please, we have been through hell, I don't always apologize right away when I am wrong, but at the end of the day we hold tons of love, understanding, forbearance, and a sense of fun that maybe even a bit ridiculous at times! Here goes nothing…or a lot of something!

As Thanksgiving approaches, I find myself getting swept up in the hustle and bustle of the pending holiday season: the crowds, the noise, the pile up of assignments as the semester ends. This year, for many reasons, I'm taking the time to stop for a ...
