A sassy, stylish wordsmith & her oenophile husband - what's not to like?
He loves wine; she loves fashion.
How it all started...
After a wine-soaked honeymoon in Napa Valley, CA, they returned home and Carey was laid off from her job. With time to spare, wine to drink, and a considerably smaller budget for clothes, the two decided to put their energies into a blog.
They wanted it to be funny, a chance to share life’s goings on with friends and family, and a marriage of their passions: wine and fashion.
It morphed into so much more. (And even kitten Eli has input from time to time.) The two review wineries, restaurants, recipes, wine (of course), designers, trends, and more. Carey has a thing for inspiration, so she writes a lot about that. She feels like fashion is just another art form, but rather than spend time lauding designers and dissecting trends, she prefers to see what the people on the street do. And she loves to find inspiration in clothes, most often as they are connected to music.
Most of all, it’s a glimpse into a new marriage—a copywriter and a builder—who both love to create and to admire beautiful things. And drink lots of good wine.

The third Thursday of November usually passes for me without a lot of fanfare. “Beaujolais Day” was never very popular in my house growing up—no waiting to see if the bottle would pop out and see its shadow, predicting another stret...

DonnaI love this blog for it's wonderful blend of commentary, beautiful photography and their unique perspective on fashion (her) and wine (his). I am not a fashionista what-so-ever, but you don't have to be to enjoy this blog! Give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
AllieThis blog is so great! I love all Carey's fashion posts and pictures and I love Rob's wine posts! They take professional looking shots of each other and their life which makes the blog personal and fun to read! Carey has a hilarious sense of humor to boot!
CamiJust delightful. They're funny, sweet, and obviously so in love. She has great style and all the photography is warm and beautiful. His wine reviews are what I read before I go shop for wine for dinners. I check it every day; rich content, original photography, and great writing.
