great information :)
Posts from different voices around what it means to be dad. The moments when we revel in the joy and success of our kids, as well as those times we are just trying to keep them from hating us.
Recent PostsThe cul de sac hasn’t moved in all the time we’ve been here. This may seem like an odd observation but the cul de sac hadn’t been here when we found this place we call home. Maybe this is why it holds some of its magic because it came after us,...
We say grace before every meal and go to church every Sunday. It’s so nice to see my little two year old getting into the proverbial “swing-of-things” in that regard. After church last Sunday I took the family to a local Chinese Buf...
I place little stock in Astrology and Zodiac signs but I do find it humorous though that they are uncannily spot on when it comes to describing most of my personality traits. According to the Roman Zodiac I am a Libra. It’s the Scales which sym...

Not too long ago I posted about our Chicago vacation. This incident happened while we were at the Shedd Aquarium, and I had forgotten all about it until just a couple of days ago. It’s been on my mind ever since and I wanted to put "pen to ...
There have been, and continue to be, a lot of negative things rolling in and through my life the last several weeks. The kind of things that throw a heavy blanket over the myriad wonderful and positive things that are simultaneously occurring. Chief ...

DeDomenicoHi!Ã My daughter, Gina and I,Ã just launched her new business calledÃÂ
KidsFunCards.comÃ and she would love to be considered for aÃÂ
"Featured Product" review.
Gina started making Lunch Cards because her little girls would resistÃÂ
going to school in the morning and her eldest, 7 at the time, cried atÃÂ
night about how she sat alone at the lunch table and how humiliatingÃÂ
it was.Ã Her heart broke for them, and so she knew she had to doÃÂ
something.ÃÂ
Before Gina quit working to be with her girls, she was aÃÂ
costume illustrator for Hollywood feature films. So she decided to makeÃÂ
illustrations (cartoons) with riddles and jokes and real wackyÃÂ
stories that she knew would make the kids giggle.
It has been 3 years now, and her kids go crazy to go to school ifÃÂ
there's a lunch card in their lunch-and her 9 year old now has a hugeÃÂ
lunch-bunch. But best of all she can include a lunch card as a TREAT,ÃÂ
thus excluding sugar if she wants to. With America's growing obesityÃÂ
crisis, not to mention households now have 2 working parents toÃÂ
survive, we are hoping these lunch cards help parents "send a hug in aÃÂ
lunchbox", that is healthy!!!
As a grandparent, I send KidsLunchBoxCards cards to my grandchildren through
the mail. So now, I've achieved "hero status" wtih them and their friends.
Our family decided to launch KidsLunchBoxCards and share with other kids, andÃÂ
hopefully help other parents with the same problems Gina experienced!
DisneyFamily.com just included Gina's cards in their "8 Back to SchoolÃÂ
Products We Love" segment. We are thrilled, and yet unsure of theÃÂ
mysteries of the web! here's the link to peek:
Please check out our site, KidsFunCards.com. We can send samples. Just advise your address.
Thank you! Paul
