I like world music, especially Gnaoua, sub-Saharan music from Mali, Senegal, Congo etc, rock, jazz, blues and some classical, so, the music at the Essaouira Gnaoua and World Music Festival hits several spots simultaneously. Other music too, like Van Morrison and occasional musings.

    I've just seen that they have posted the dates for this year's Essaouira - 25 - 28 June 2009. No sign of any program or artists yet, but we shouldn't expect them to appear until sometime in May....
