Thank You for bothering.
ââ¬ÅWe blog for Darfurââ¬Â is a reaction to the lack of coverage concerning the Darfur conflict by the main stream media. Due to this there is unfortunately an incredible lack of awareness, and hence there is hardly enough activism taking place in order to help appease this horrific situation.
It is therefore necessary to do something to help raise awareness. It is also necessary to present the conflict thoroughly and in a simple straight forward language so that people can gain a deeper understanding including the root causes. We have taken it upon ourselves to do so. We donââ¬â¢t want to present ââ¬Åpoliticized newsââ¬Â or ââ¬Åpoliticized perspectivesââ¬Â. We want to present a raw perspective thatââ¬â¢s informative. Informed people are people who more likely to act and are more likely to push those in positions of power to do something, anything.
Letââ¬â¢s spread awareness. Letââ¬â¢s not rely on the main stream media. Let us get the word out and spread awareness on the blogosphere. Let us inform. Let us give a voice to our voiceless fellow human beings. Let us blog, blog and blog some more.
Together, we can make a difference.
Together, we blog for Darfur
