Deanna's Ramblings
http://deannaizme.wordpress.com
I’m a 40(ish) mom who lives in California (in the San Francisco Bay Area). I have wonderful partner — together 8 years on May 15! We have a beautiful 2-and-a-half year old son who keeps us on our toes. I work as an Employee Benefits/HRIS Analyst for a large company in San Francisco.
My interests are wide and varied — politics, music, Broadway musicals, reading (novels and biographies) and movies, to name a few. I’ve been something of a political junkie ever since arguing with my father about politics when I was a child.
So welcome! Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. It holds my musings on whatever comes to mind — politics (especially right now!), soccer, my son, Northern California, and whatever else strikes my fancy.

More Thoughts on Issues of the Day
More random thoughts on issues of the day: President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today. While I am a supporter of his, what has he done to win this already? Keep in mind that the nomination deadline was 12 days after Obama took offic...
Thoughts on Issues of the Day
Since I’m way, way short of time these days for in-depth blogging – I’m in my extremely busy period at work – here are some thoughts on the issues of the day, in no order of importance: President Obama’s trip to Copenhagen to speak in fron...

Blog seems to consist of short timely posts that are provocative and suggest relative depth -- depth that I would like to know more about.
That the author has chosen to write snippets on a multitude of topics rather than to explore any one topic in depth may actually be an asset.
I'll probably be back.
