I just wanted to share my experience eating at a durian stall in Damansara Uptown (opposite Starbucks). I must say we did not have a good experience at all. Although they say it's 'pau sek' ie quality guaranteed, when we rejected a durian which a worker brought to us (one of the seeds was rotten), the worker insisted that we take it. We stood our ground and he walked away in a huff. When we ate the second one, it was 'watery' ie it was tasteless with poor texture (and we're not durian connoisseurs!). We then informed him that it was 'watery' and he said 'that is because you spilled water on it!'. With a bad taste in our mouths, after a couple more durians, we decided to call it quits. And not to our surprise, there was a dispute in the weight where the 'lady boss' insisted we had 4 durians but we actually turned one away (the one with the bad seed). Anways, there were other customers standing around, hence she relented. We paid and vow never to set foot in this durian stall again! Be warned durian lovers!
