Another interesting angle is global metaphors we use. "Life is a party." "Life is a war." Every day we make statements that reinforce how we feel. "A broken heart" isnn't literally a broken heart. "Tickled pink" - we weren't tickled, and we didn't turn pink. But when we pay attention to what we say, we can also, I think, begin to address how we feel and how we choose to feel about what happens.

I do find dreams fascinating. I once dreamt that a young woman was lecturing on something and she said, 'the only truthful voice is the one that comes to you in your dreams' - and that was within the dream itself... I woke up and wrote it down. I've always taken my dreams seriously ever since.:-)
