Dear Dr. Williams,
I'm a current undergrad student at Dartmouth interning with the Learning First Alliance, which runs the website Public School Insights ( http://www.publicschoolinsights.org ).
I stumbled across your blog when searching for information on early childhood education. Just today at Public School Insights we’ve posted an interview with a woman who has done extensive research on preschool and early childhood education. She emphasizes the importance of research in developing a strong curriculum for her program, and has had much success in her own district, specifically in terms of boosting student performance in a cost-effective way, promoting cooperation and communication between preschools and elementary schools, and combating the “fadeout” effect in which children start out strong, but then fall behind. You can view the posting on our front page or here: http://www.publicschoolinsights.org/what-works-early-childhood-education-view-field
I thought you might be interested in this; perhaps even as a topic for one of your posts.
Thanks so much for your time,
Alex Rivadeneira
