Great Blog. Interesting lifestyle. Good content with great visuals. Fine job..
A child of the 60s wonders 'where have all the flowers gone?' and ponders the earth and its beauty, recycling and green issues, dogs, cycling and good food and recipes. Includes plenty of photography, albeit amateur. Some sarcasm may surface but peace is kept! An easy, fun read.
Recent PostsExactly four years ago today, we were driving east on I-40, heading home on our cross-country trip. We had heard about this sculpture called Cadillac Ranch, near Amarillo, Texas, so we decided to stop and see for ourselves. The experience was...
The flight path to Washington National Airport goes along the Potomac River as seen here from Ford’s Landing in Alexandria, VA. This approach avoids the many no-fly zones around the area. Sorry for the late post. The nor’easter ...
While we were standing on the Virginia shores, Lucy was swimming peacefully on the Potomac River, unaware she had just crossed state lines into Maryland. Don’t worry, she was only a stone’s throw away from us. That’s the st...
Love those wispy cirrus clouds. They look just like eyelashes. That reminds me of an 80’s song by the Alan Parsons Project – “Eye in the Sky.” I’ve added it to my playlist in case you want to check it out. Go...

Gary M RenickI really enjoy your blog very much. I too am a child of the sixties. I went to Woodstock in 69. I love your photos they have such artistic style. Good luck and God Bless
RoentarreIt is a very good photo blog. Very true to your personality. No disguise and no pretence. The work reflect your life very well.
Poetic and gentle. Very good for a good morning read. Your photography carries a serenity that is hard to describe.
Your composition is surprisingly not the major technique used in your recent series of images. Instead, you work on hue and lighting.
Tony Hogan - Guitar PlayerThis is a great and sincere blog by someone who is alive and thinking, has watched the changes over the years and grown into a very interesting human being.

JenLovely blog. Will stop by often.
BirdI love a blog that's thoughtful, playful and well written, and Earth to Holly gets a great big tick for each! A relatively new blogger, Roadgurl5 posts beautiful pictures often with some thoughtful little twist to make you stop and look around and notice things with fresh eyes. She writes of day to day life with a similar wide awake style. With a clear, easy on the eye layout there is nothing to distract and the warmth of the author shines through. I've been reading Earth to Holly since the beginning and I'm looking forward to seeing where Roadgurl5 takes it next. Do I recommend this blog? Check out the stars - you bet I do!
Birgitta SamuelssonPretty and thoughtful pictures. :)

Theresa HallI really liked the photographs, your puppy, the reminder movie clip of Axel Foley with the bananas and the fact you are pretty close. Very cool site. Just today I took a bunch of photos of the trees in all their splendor.
