East Lake is the up and coming Artisans District here in Birmingham. Located on the East-Side of the Magic City which is quickly becoming a very ethnically and socially diverse oasis here in Birmingham. Many new residents are GLBT and are helping in this revitalization transformation. As of Spring 2009 these homes and apartments are very affordable and if you are wanting to relocate to Birmingham and you are wanting to more into a very affordable location that is quickly transforming into this Art District you may want to tell your Realtor to show you homes in the East Lake area.
