In the fall of 2008, the Mercatus Center at George Mason University launched the Financial Markets Working Group. The Financial Markets Working Group is made up of academics and policy practitioners with a diversity of experience and expertise to address the issues facing our economy today. The Financial Markets Working Group is a resource for policy makers, the media, and others with an interest in a better understanding of the current economic situation and solutions to enable recovery.
