The Bolling Home, located at 145 East Main Street, Wytheville, Virginia, is the birthplace of one of the most influential, controversial, and politically significant women of the twentieth century, First Lady Edith Bolling Wilson. She was the second wife of the 28th President of the United States, Woodrow Wilson.

Edith Bolling Wilson has been referred to as "The Secret President" and "The First Woman President" because she was seen as assuming many governmental duties after President Wilson suffered a stroke in 1919. It is important to preserve her birthplace and heritage for future generations.
