Education and Its Discontents
http://www.educationanditsdiscontents.blogspo…
I recently started an education-oriented blog entitled “Education and Its Discontents – Observations from A Retired High School Teacher”. My intended audience includes members of the general public who are interested in publicly-funded education as well as teachers, administrators, and parents. My purpose in starting the blog is twofold. One is to offer people who are interested a “peek behind the curtain” so they have a more realistic understanding of what goes on in schools today, not the sanitized, public-relations version that school boards and their administrators are inclined to give. The other is to stimulate productive discussion on matters related to education, with a special focus on the management and mismanagement of schools.
