I found the answer to my question about measles...

Nouns such as civics, mathematics, dollars, measles, and news require singular verbs.

No explanation as of why but I guess this will do.

I also am having a problem understanding , on the # 4 of the quizz, why the answer is "is" and not "are" since measles is a plural word.
