I love to write. I am a genuine artist craving the attention I deserve.... craving the acclaim I deserve.... craving the spot light.... craving the perfect forums to display my talent... hopefully, this is one.
After so many years of debating with myself and regretting every day I chose not to follow my heart, I have decided to pursue my desire. I have made up my mind to actively pursue writing. I have always pushed poetry to the back of my mind because I refused to become a "starving artist" like so many in this field. I mean, who would choose to "starve"? I ignored the fact that not doing poetry--- not writing, period. --- was in fact starving my soul. Well, now consider me well-fed.
I am embracing all that is me. I am embracing my creativity.... embracing my passion... embracing my desire, my capabilities.... I am embracing my poetry.
