One World, One Brewer
There has been a lot of talk about the beer industry lately in Ontario. The Toronto Star News paper did a 3 part story on the Beer Store, which opened a lot of people’s eyes to how we, as Ontarian’s, have simply accepted whatever the government...
It’s Alive!
Well it’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. The whole intention of the site was wiped out when I found out the cottage I planned to build was too small according to the municipality (See - Building a Cottage: Shattered Dreams). Th...
Pepperwood Bistro and Brewery Beer Festival
A local Brew Pub is having a beer festival in February and I thought I would share the details for those that might be in the area. The Pepperwood Bistro and Brewery will be celebrating its 14th annual Beer Festival on February 24th, 2008 from 2:3...
Cheap Hotels
It’s getting into the dog days of the winter here in Ontario. It’s dark and cold when I get up to go to work and it’s dark and cold when I leave work to go home. During the day I look out my window and it is grey and dreary. [...]...
Bug Vacuum - Get Rid of Bugs
One of the main reasons why I want a cottage is so that my family can get together there and enjoy swimming, fishing, playing, and eating. However my mother is not much of an outdoors type of person. Even though cottages have all the amenities of an ...

Love this Blog. Content is interesting, varied and funny.
It has been said that this Blog doesn't have direction, or an "aim". So what ! A Blog is, among other things, an outlet for the Author, a source of information and a source of entertainment for others. This Blog fulfills all of these and more. Nice work !

Great site. I've never seen a blog with this many comments on this site before. But then again I'm a new member. You seem to be popular with the locals though, so you're doing something right!

Great topics in your posts - something for everyone! You missed my favourite beer though!! Windhoek, which is from Namibia (not far from where I am in South Africa though)! A great drink :)

I categorize this as a hybrid-personal-entertainment-blog-magazine.
I enjoyed most of it as it does remain true to its title. It is well written, humorous and witty. I just kept getting the feeling like it needs to be expanded into more. This is a blog that could become a "household name" mega-guide sort of thing if developed further. Lots of guest editorials could help it develop. Overall, too big an idea for its current format, like an unknown star that just needs a little more time to blow up. One to watch.

hi,just been a coincidence me arriving to this blog.Yet I looked at it and scroll down finding it quite interesting even though I didn't find its real aim.Perhaps because it's the first time I enter a blog.Could somebody explain to me the real purpose of it?.Thanks a "blog",

Hello. Your site looks really good. I am just getting started and my blog doesn't have the color photos yet. Perhaps what I really need, besides a PC is a web-site. I will keep you in mind when I am ready to get it started. In the meantime keep writing.

Nice to see someone with a favorable view of living! The part about 40+ somethings not good at computers is not quite true as "we" are the generation who mastered "PONG"....Good luck with the lottery...You might try Powerball as it is "more bang for the dollar"
