Dear Friends:
My name is Michael Morley and I am the developer of a program called Personal Partners. Personal Partners is a fitness program designed for individuals with developmental disabilities. Participants are paired up with their own personal trainer that specializes in their particular condition.
Over the years I have worked with some incredible special needs individuals and families. The incredible love and support that they demonstrate has made a big impression on me. In particular, the families of the participants with Autism, have impacted my outlook the most. The way these families love, support and lean on each other is amazing.
This is why the Stories About Autism Project was started. In the upcoming year it is my goal to compile inspiring and encouraging stories for a book project. This book will serve as encouragement to other families living with autism. As I have seen first hand, these amazing stories are around us. It is our responsibility to make sure they are heard.
It is not only the stories that will make up the book. I have seen amazing talents within these individuals with Autism. Art and Photography will also be a major part of the project.
If you or anyone you know would like to be a part of the special project, please e-mail me at michael@storiesaboutautism.com or visit www.storiesaboutautism.com for more information.
Thank you very much for your time.
Sincerely,
Michael Morley
