Facing Sideways
http://www.facingsideways.blogspot.com
Facing Sideways is a log primarily devoted to my personal views & opinions, broadly encompassing the profession of Graphic Design. There's more than a few blogs that are devoted to the discussion of the design industry (and graphic design in particular) What I hope to do is present a less formal and more personal point of view. I will be focusing in particular on design topics from my home town of Adelaide, South Australia, and also looking at design topics of interest from around Australia and the world. Because endless articles on graphic design are about as interesting as that sounds to the general populace, and because I'm still battling through an arrested adolescence, expect articles to veer off into topics of music, pop culture and comics, probably with some tenuous like back to graphic design thrown in.

I love perusing through the images in a design annual or designer's monograph (design porn as my wife calls it) as much as I'm sure most designers do. Seeing the work being produced by extraordinary talents lights the fire to instigate your own atte...
