A quick post about tonight's Oscars. I don't really care about the awards, especially this year with times so tough it seems strange to celebrate millionaire celebrities and studios when things are so haywire in the world. I look at it sort of like...

WiktoriaHi! Fantastic blog. Good work, Peter :)
RudiGreat blog. Good writing, interesting . Thanks :-)
Svein WisnaesWell written and a nice, personal touch. You obviously have a gift for teaching and I like the "behind-the-scene" stuff you give us. I like it even more because I actually know and understand what you are writing about :-) Just wish I had someone like you to guide me 20 years ago!
jasonI like your site alot. I've always dreamt of producing a short film, just never had the time or the resources. Maybe you will inspire me to finally make one.

RoseI nearly passed your blog by. Then decided to lok deeper. After the first few lines I was hooked.
Excellent. There is a certain knack to teaching that some people have.

incinqYour students are lucky.
Theresa HallReally liked your Thursday web log about the late Adrienne Shelly. Only today Joe and I were looking at a story about Keri Russell being in a new movie called "Waitresses" and there was a photograph and insert telling the story of Ms. Shelly. How very sad and tragic. I send my prayers to you for the loss of your friend. I promise to see the movie. Take care and visit again soon.
poojithahey,dud.....good writing....
Peter HawleyI love your blog. What do you know about HD?

Theresa HallI very much enjoyed your site and promise to visit again once I get some shut eye. I started blogging last Sunday night, oh wow a week has gone by already, I have perused so much literature, instructions and since I own an Apple iMac and not a PC there have been daily challenges. Perhaps you may wish to visit my site and since it is new there does not seem to be the appeal that is displayed on yours. I have high hopes of rectifying this matter pretty soon. Oh yes. Sleeping Kitten - Dancing Dog! is actually the title for my forum which will be ensconsed within my virtual cafe`. No wonder there are so many pet ads. Ha!

Chuck AnthonyPeter's filmmaking blog offers an insightful, often amusing account of the film industry (which I absolutely know nothing about) but have suddenly become interested. Not to mention, his friendly disposition shines right through. Keep writing Peter, and we'll keep reading, thanks!
Thomas InghamNice sense of humor and timing. Great writing, really.
Sitaram RajaramanHello Peter, I liked your recent post about Ida Lupino. Good to see that you highlight people like that and in the process encouraging new comers, especially women in the field of film making.
viceHi Peter
Thanks for your recent review of my blog. Your comments are truly appreciated. Regarding your last question though, I'm not sure I understand it. Regarding your blog stats box, I can see yours fine (46.8 of 100). If you are viewing your 'blog detail' page, it should be visible. If your viewing your 'profile page', you've got to go one page 'deeper' to get to your detail page.
Hope this helps.
Outlook-EverythingI really enjoy reading your blog it is wonderful :)
