The goal of the Girl Talk blog is to provide a means of communication between moms and daughters about the dangers of underage drinking. It also provides a venue in which young women can communicate with their peers, share experiences and get insights on the dangers of underage drinking from other perspectives.

Dorothy LafrinereHello...Excellent topic and I commend your efforts in trying to save our next generations from the mistakes already tried and proven to be self-destructing.
Human beings tend to feel this need especially in the teen years to want to be in charge of their own mistakes and wrong turns in life.
They do not understand anything about hind site which is one of our weakest points.
Self-esteem, self-image, peer pressure...all of these issues seem to be catalyst to a lot of the much unnecesssary alcohol abuse.
Unfortunately it is a bit of a double edged sword because one does not help the other at all.
I can go on and on about womens issues...but I will let you read my thoughts for yourself if you choose to visit my blog/website!
Have a very nice day and plese do keep trying to rid our teens of so much self-destruction!

NikiNice Blog! I been there a few times!! XOXO
juliaborsosHey, the topic of your blog (choices and consequences of underage drinking) is brilliant, and it matches the theme of my blog Something is Wrong, which covers the importance of education and the negative effects of todays media influences. I was wondering if you'd like to link to my blog, and I'll do the same?
Oh and a bit of advice - the slogan in your logo needs to be a fair bit bigger. And another thing: this was the only way I could actually contact you without registering on your blog. I understand if you want users to be able to log in but it means cutting off direct contact with others.
Anyhow, Keep up the good job :)

jewel ciappioI am going to link to this on Trin's page- trinitythephoenix.blogspot.com. You have put together a well needed site, and I hope one day my daughter is like me and never experiences all the bad things that go with drinking and stupidity. I was lucky enough to have my Dad and I could tell him anything. And I did. Much to his horror sometimes, I'm sure. I spent many weekends around bonfires when I was younger, and luckily no one ever got hurt. Then Trinity's accident happened, (she fell in) and the only reason she didn't burn up completely, is because we were all sober and pulled her out fast. I would never forgive myself if I had been drinking, and didn't save her. My husband and I run a LARP called NERO and we have never allowed drinking. It is just stupid to drink anywhere.
