The purpose of the Greater Oakboro Business Association (GOBA) shall be to promote the economic well-being of the community through the cooperative efforts of its members and the Town of Oakboro. Such efforts may include sponsoring and participating in special events, improving the appearance of the business district, furthering the economic development of the area, and providing information and material about the area to the general public.
