I received a Magellan roadmate 1200 a few days ago as a gift. It doesn't work in daylight so one can see the screen. Spoke to Magellan uncustomer service department about how to fix the problem. I was told that it is operating properly and you are stuck with it and we won't look at it nor will we allow you to send us back to physically look at it... Don' buy Magellan - no customer service with issues that should be ones they would like to look into... never had an issue in daylight with garmin nor tom-tom... no magellan ever of any type of product.
