Pharmacists are over trained, but are essentially automatons(in Chain Store Pharmacy, at least. They could be easily replaced by better educated technicians. Create a 2-3 year pharmacy dispensing program, and allow the PharmD's to do the "clinical work" in hospitals. We do not need PharmD's to man drive in windows and sell cigarettes!
