I did not realize how slowly my computer was running until I tried using someone else. I have a reconditioned desk model of no-name origin. I'm running windows xp home edition and use my cable service for access. I am taking an online course and it seems forever to go from one page to another.

I am low tech, but can follow directions very well. What can I do with my computer to make it run faster?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
