I’m a 24 year old Midwestern transplant, Wisconsin born and raised. Now I live, work and play in Los Angeles, where some of the nations supposedly most successful minds can’t figure out how to tie their own shoes, get their own coffee or cross the street properly. I’m a journalism and mass communication ‘07 graduate and extraordinaire.

I’m really good at making coffee. I’ve become even better, though, at ordering and delivering triple non-fat grande raspberry mocha cappa bullshit lattes. Recently I became an editor which is thrilling to me because my dream is to one day be a professional writer.

I enjoy controversy, manicures, small cuddly puppies, baseball players, a good bottle of wine, sleeping in, cheese, kissing slowly, and putting away groceries. I believe that a person’s greatest strengths can also become their greatest points of weakness.

My website chronicles the story of a Midwestern girl just trying to make her way in the big city. I hope you enjoy the ride, because I’m having a lot of fun along the way, and trying not to get arrested. (Just kidding, Mom!)
