Hello,
My name is Gilberto Da Cunha Gama.
I am 19 years old.I am Brazilian and i live with my sister and uncle.
Since i was child,i sing at the church ,at the childrens choir also,my passion is to sing and i do it every day.
Almoust 4 years ago i started to have a will:To study music,to be a professional singer,but in the United States,were the best singers started(gospel also).
I also love English,but my family did not have money to pay a course for me.It was not a problem for me.Than i started to listen music.to translate also,to write dictionaries,and to write letters to all the English schools i knew asking for material,telling about my dreams.
I recieved books ,cds,i also recieved books about the USA from the American Consulate in Brazil.It helped me so much,and if today i can speak and to write i thank them for suport me.
I finished the higth school,and i am working as a bellboy ain a hotel,what i recieve per momth is 600 reais,the same that 259 dollar a month.I use this money to help at home and i am happy.
One year ago i started to look for schoolarships ,than i knew Christ For The Nations in Dallas Texas,is an interdominational institute witch gives schoolarships for peoples from all around the world.I sent all teh application for them,last year,for worship and techinical arts.Thanks God i recieved this schoolarship,the classes begin in July this year.he only thing i have to pay are my air line tikets,i now it can be no expensive for you,but for me it is,and i have no how to pay it,even because when i arrieve in dallas i will have to deposit in the institute safe my back air line tiket in dollars.I ready have 300 reais,in dolars (150 ,oo).
I am just sending this message to ask your help some way,even if you can not help me with any value ,i count with your prayers.
